The YM series including the Yanmar 3YM30AE are four-stroke direct injection diesel engines equipped with liquid coolant systems. The 3YM30AE is a 3-cylinder engine and is naturally aspirated. These Yanmar 3YM30AE engines are equipped with a marine gear or sail drive unit and are designed for pleasure craft use.
