This RULE-MATE 500GPH AUTO BILGE PUMP RM500B is a fully automated bilge pump using a solid state water reacting technology removing the need for a separate float switch. The sensor’s unique “field effect” technology is eco-friendly because straight motor oil in the bilge will not turn on the pump.
The new Rule-Mate bilge pumps operate using an internal level sensor. The RULE-MATE 500GPH AUTO BILGE PUMP RM500B switches on when the water level reaches 2″/5cm, and the pump will automatically activate, removing water from the bilge. When the water level reaches 3/8″/0.9cm the pump will turn off until the water level rises again.

Bilges are not always clean and free from debris. If the level sensor becomes fouled by debris or contaminated water, Rule-Mate’s unique back up feature will prevent the pump from entering a run-on condition, protecting the battery while maintaining automatic operation. So ,it has embedded programming that can sense when the pump is working but not pumping water to protect the pump, vessel, and the boat’s batteries.
Includes a straight 3/4″ hose fitting, a snap-on strainer for easy cleaning, and an anti-fouling impeller. Each pump has a 3-year limited warranty.
